Connect with Families
Register to Become a CareCoach
Are you a parent, guardian or caregiver of a child who is deaf or hard of hearing? Has your child been a patient of the Children's Cochlear Implant Center at UNC (formerly CASTLE)? Have you participated in any of The CARE Project's retreats or educational opportunities? Do you have want to share your experiences and stories to help guide others as they learn about their children's diagnoses, look for health care options and discover community resources? If you answered yes, then you are in the right place.
Because everyone's experiences are different, not all applicants will become CareCoaches. The security and privacy of our TCP CareConnect community is important, so all CareCoach applicants will be asked to submit to a review process.
To apply, complete a short form with your basic information. Be sure to select "I am applying because I want to be a CareCoach" from the "Your Role" options. Our staff will review your information. Within a few days, the TCP CareConnect staff will respond by email with information on the next steps.
